Debt Collection Agency EAD is an employer and a party to civil contracts. In this regard, the Company processes the personal data of job applicants and individuals who are parties to civil contracts, concluded with the Company.
In staff recruitment procedures, Debt Collection Agency EAD receives the personal data of job applicants either personally or through recruitment agencies. In the second case, before the data is received by our company, the data are processed by the respective recruitment agency without relevance of Debt Collection Agency EAD to such processing. Our company is not responsible for the processing of your data by any recruitment agency that has submitted your data to us.
The data shall be processed to take the necessary steps at the request of the data subject prior to the conclusion of the contract (in view of the pre-contractual relationship between the applicant and the company) and in view of the legitimate interest of Debt Collection Agency EAD to select eligible employees to occupy the position for which they are applying and to comply with the legal obligations applicable to the company and provided for in the labour law.
The processing shall be carried out in order to select the appropriate staff for the vacancies in Debt Collection Agency EAD and to prepare the contract to be concluded.
In the first stage of the selection procedure, the Company will process personal data, specified in CVs sent to Debt Collection Agency EAD by the data subject or the recruitment agencies and in motivation letters, if any.
The Company has not approved a special CV format and does not restrict the data subjects with such CV forms. The CV may be submitted in any format chosen by the data subject, and it should contain information in accordance with the vacancy requirements announced by the Company. Using standard European CV formats, the following personal information is provided by the applicant for the job: Full names, address, contact details (telephone number, fax, e-mail), nationality, date of birth, employment record, education, qualifications and training, information on personal, social, organizational, technical and other competences. A recent photo is attached to the CV in standard forms. In their CVs, individuals may also provide other information at their discretion. The data in the submitted CVs shall be fully processed when reviewing the document.
The data in the CVs sent by / to the subjects shall be processed by the employees of the company from the Human Resources department and by a person in a management position in the unit, for which the vacancy is announced. In certain cases, data may also be disclosed to public authorities, provided that there is a legal basis for doing that.
Upon reviewing received CVs, Debt Collection Agency EAD will contact the applicants who have completed the first selection stage and invite them to participate in the second stage – the interview. The second stage involves interviewing with respect to the information provided in the first stage. Interviews are conducted by a team of Company’s employees from the Human Resources department and the department of the vacant position, applied for.
Upon completion of the second selection phase, the Company will contact the relevant persons to provide them with information on whether they have been approved for employment. Approved applicants shall be required to provide the documents necessary for the employment relationship, in accordance with the requirements of the labour legislation and the specifics of the position for which they are applying.
Personal data will not be disclosed to countries or entities outside the European Economic Area.
Job Applicants’ personal data shall be stored by Debt Collection Agency EAD for the following periods:
- In the case of an approved application and conclusion of an employment contract, the data shall be stored in the employee’s employment file for the duration of the employment contract;
- Or non-approved applicants – the documents submitted during the application shall be kept for up to 6 months, starting from the completion of the selection procedure; Debt Collection Agency EAD will store data of applicants who participated in the second stage of the selection procedure, namely data on names and date of birth, as well as a brief reasoning as to why the subject was not approved, shall be kept for a period up to 3 years, according to the time limits stipulated in the Law on Protection against Discrimination and under applicable data protection legislation
If the data subject does not provide information to Debt Collection Agency EAD on the basis of which it could be concluded that the job application would be appropriate, the data subject will not be invited for an interview. It is also possible for the data subject to formally meet the requirements but not be invited for an interview because other applications are more appropriate for the particular position.
