Sofia, 14 August 2023 – Dimitar Bonchev, who had previously been for eight years part of the management of Debt Collection Agency ЕАD (DCA), one of the leading debt purchase companies in Bulgaria, has again been elected as a member of the company’s Board of Directors. He has replaced Georgios Christoforou who will focus on other projects at Norway’s B2Holding, the current owner of DCA. The change has already been entered in the Commercial Register.
Dimitar Bonchev is among the recognized names in the receivables management sector. He has over 18 years of experience, 15 of which in managerial positions in leading companies on the market. Bonchev has been part of DCA’s management from 2013 to May 2021 and played a key role in the development of the company as a leader in the sector. He has been Operations Director and Director of International Operations Bulgaria and Romania for the first three years. After the acquisition of DCA by B2Holding in 2016 Bonchev has been successively a Business Development Director, deputy CEO, CEO and Board Member.
For the last year, Dimitar Bonchev has been working exclusively on the deal for the sale of DCA as in 2022 B2Holding decided to dispose of part of its assets in Southeastern Europe, including the Bulgarian unit. The holding has already signed an agreement for the sale of its subsidiary in Bulgaria to Bulgaria’s DCA Management. The acquisition deal is expected to be completed in the coming months. “We are happy that Dimitar Bonchev is part of our board again.
