DCA “reawakens” nature at an event for its partners and in support of green and good causes

Debt Collection Agency EAD (DCA) organized an intriguing and unusual event for the financial and banking sector in Bulgaria, with which the company launched its new significant green project and at the same time celebrated its 13th birthday

The event was held on 30 November in Hall 10 of the National Palace of Culture in the capital and was attended by many of the company’s partners from the financial, banking and telecom sectors, each of whom was personally welcomed by the company’s management.

The ACV pleasantly surprised the guests right at the entrance, completely transforming the 400 sq. m. space in and in front of the hall. Stepping in, guests found themselves in the middle of a real forest. Hall 10 of the National Palace of Culture literally melted into a fairytale forest world, and everyone present had the opportunity to immerse themselves in the magic and charm of living nature, recreated with live vegetation and accompanied by the enchanting, magical sounds of the dulcimer and violin performed live by talented Bulgarian musicians. The atmosphere was complemented by an impressive 3D multimedia mapping, which further enhanced guests’ sense of being in the enchanting embrace of an enchanting green forest. The bites and drinks also corresponded with the theme of the event.

At the very beginning of the evening, Yulia Yurgakieva, DCA’s CEO, welcomed the guests and thanked them for their trust over the past 13 years, which has contributed to the company today being a leader in its sector. She also presented a new green project of the Agency, implemented in partnership with the Green Balkans environmental organization. The company is donating funds to the NGO, which will be directed towards the conservation of rare bird colonies in the Plovdiv region. Hristo Nikolov, director of the foundation, emphasized that DCA dis one of the few companies that have contacted Green Balkans and offered their support.

The donation to Green Balkans is another step in the ESG policy of DCA and the social responsibility program of the company. A few years ago, the employees of DCA took part in the reforestation of the “New Sofia Forest” near Suhodol, and the saplings they planted are now young trees.

Attention at the event was also paid to the long-standing partnership of DCA with SOS Children’s Villages – another significant cause supported by the company for years. The company is among the regular corporate donors of the organization, which makes sure that every child lives in a suitable environment. The Executive Director of the Association Valeria Georgieva expressed her gratitude for the constant commitment of DCA and presented Yulia Yurgakieva with a symbolic diploma as a donor of SOS Children’s Villages.
