БукурещNorway-based B2Holding, the owner of Debt Colection Agency EAD (DCA), has through its Romanian subsidiary B2 Kapital Portfolio Management SRL entered into an agreement to acquire a portfolio of retail and corporate, secured and unsecured non-performing loans in Romania, according to a company’s announcement on the corporate site.

“The acquisition of the portfolio is another important milestone in B2Holding’s continued development and further growth in Romania” says Olav Dalen Zahl, CEO of B2Holding ASA.

B2Holding is operating in Romania via its Bulgaria-based DCA too. In 2016 the Norwegian debt solutions provider entered into an agreement to acquire a residential mortgage Non-Performing Loan (NPL) portfolio in Romania valued at EUR 370 million. The portfolio consisted of 6,800 loans secured by real estate collaterals and was sold by Banca Comerciala Romana (BCR), the leading Romanian bank in terms of asset value (over EUR 14 bn.) and a member of the Austrian Erste Group. B2Holding stepped in this deal in a 50/50 partnership with another leading debt collection agency in the country.
