One of the leading companies for debt purchase and management in Bulgaria – Debt Collection Agency EAD (DCA), is already owned by DCA Management AD. The acquisition deal is one of the most significant in the financial sector in Bulgaria in recent years. In the coming days it is expected the change of ownership will be entered in the Commercial Register.
Debt Collection Agency was established in 2010 and is a trusted partner of leading banks, non-bank financial institutions and telecommunications companies. Since the beginning of its activity the company has acquired nearly 800 000 receivables, which places it among the largest investors in the market of non-performing loans (NPL) in Bulgaria. To date, DCA manages a portfolio of over BGN 1.62 billion.
For nearly 13 years of history the company has established itself with its good corporate governance and compliance with some of the best practices in the sector. DCA is entering the new stage of its development as a financial institution with a serious history, impeccable reputation and corporate image.
DCA Management AD is a company, headed by managers and professionals with many years of experience in the sector of buying and managing NPL. The new owner plans to continue developing DCA under the same brand, and in addition to the Bulgarian market, it will also aim to expand its activities to other European markets.

With this transaction the Norwegian B2 Impact ASA (formerly B2Holding ASA) is leaving the Bulgarian NPL market as part of the strategy to optimize its business in Europe.
