Georgios Christoforou, BHolding’s regional director for Southeastern Europe (SEE), will be a speaker at the sixth annual Banking and Business conference, organized by Economedia, the publisher of Capital newspaper.
Christoforou is also Chief Executive Officer of B2Kapital SA-Greece, a subsidiary of Norway-based B2Holding, that owns Debt Collection Agency (DCA). The forum will be held on November 20th at Sofia Hotel Balkan and will bring together financiers and experts to discuss the latest trends in the banking sector, debt collection and the entry of Bulgaria into the Banking union and ERM2.
Christoforou will be a speaker in the panel focused on NPL market, sharing the experience and practice of B2Holding. He has been a long-standing finance and insolvency expertise, and for 17 years he has been involved in operational and financial restructuring of different companies. He has worked for the banking sector for a total of 9 years, 7 of whom are CEO of Bank of Cyprus in Romania.
He consulted four largest banks in Greece during the Asset Quality Review project (ECB stress tests). He also managed one of the divisions of the Greek PQH Single Special Liquidation S.A, which is the Central bank of Greece as a quaestor with a special status of credit and financial institutions in liquidation.
Christoforou has led major projects as a senior manager of the Kantor Management Consultants team, and has been consulting auctions for selling credit portfolios in Greece and Romania.
Christoforou will talk about NPL market in SEE and Bulgaria at the conference on November 20th.
